Julie London was one of the most sensual singers in the history of jazz/popular vocal, and her risqué album covers were as much a part of her legend as her sultry and husky vocals. In addition to recording around 30 albums between 1955 and 1969, London would also enjoy a career in television and over 20 movies.

London by Night was released by Liberty Records in 1959. It featured backing from Pete King and his Orchestra, and was recorded in Los Angeles.

This limited LP edition is a special audiophile pressing on 180 gram virgin vinyl, with thick cardboard sleeve. (Discovery Records)
