About Us The Bebop Shop, a division of Knighton Music Group, is a mail order store dedicated to jazz recordings from the swing and bebop eras, through hardbop and post bop, free jazz & the avant garde, plus mainstream and contemporary styles. We stock CD, DVD & vinyl plus jazz books, posters and prints. Our catalogue is constantly expanding and we will be adding many more titles in the future. Let us know what you think. There is so much jazz out there, we cannot list everything that's in print so we have selected the finest, the best value and most interesting titles for your perusal. We welcome your suggestions-and wants lists- and we will endeavour to cater for what you require. If it's not listed on the site, we'll order it for you. Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and click the 'Add To Shopping Cart' button. You can confirm* your selection and carry on shopping, view the status of your shopping cart (where you can remove items if you wish) or click the Checkout button to complete your purchase. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order and then your card details can be entered and securely processed online courtesy of Worldpay's encryption.

We accept payment by credit or debit card for orders placed online. If you are shopping from Europe or anywhere in the World, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Alternatively, you can choose to pay in US Dollars or Euros.

We accept all major cards including Visa, Delta and Mastercard plus Switch/ Maestro and Solo. Alternatively, you can mail your order to us and pay by cheque or money order (payable to Knighton Music Group) if you wish.

Please note that The Bebop Shop reserves the right to decline any order it receives, either due to stock unavailability, pricing errors or card authorisation problems.

Shipping And Handling All orders to the UK are shipped by first class post at a rate of £1.50 for one item and then 50p per subsequent item.

Orders to Europe are shipped via Air Mail at a rate of £2.00 for one item and £1.00 per subsequent item.

Worldwide orders are shipped via Air Mail at a rate of £3.00 per item and then £1.50 per subsequent item.

Books are shipped at the same rates though, due to the additional weight of these items, a small additional handling charge is added to the cover price to cover our mailing costs.

When you are at the checkout stage of your order, please ensure you define which country you live in to be charged the correct shipping rate.

Delivery Schedule Most orders are shipped within 7-8 days. This can vary depending on whether an item is in stock at the time, in which case it would be shipped within 48 hours (unless further items not in stock are required to complete the order). In most cases, US import titles are usually ready to ship within the week. Euro and Japanese imports within 4 weeks. Delivery time of UK titles can vary depending on the label concerned. In all cases, delivery schedule can fluctuate depending on the availability of certain items.

Back Orders All orders are despatched when they are complete unless we forsee a delay with an out of stock item, in which case we will send the order in two parts.

Tax Charges We are not a VAT registered company so all orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system (Actinic Catalogue) over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption (via Worldpay). They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee We trust you will be delighted with all purchases made from The Bebop Shop. If, in the unlikely event you receive a damaged or faulty disc, or a disc you did not order, it should be reported to us immediately and returned for a replacement or immediate refund. Refunds cannot be given for customers disappointed with their purchases other than for the reasons stated above.
